Supposedly, they're used to power the Core, the thing that keeps Wonderland afloat, so to speak. Why?

Do you think there's any way to keep track of them?
I mean, obviously, people can't tell you something they've forgotten, but...
There's so much magic and so many other abilities and such at our disposal here, shouldn't there be some way to do it?
I've never particularly looked for lost memories, usually I was doing the erasing of them, but I do wonder if I could find it, if I tried...

[There's a pause, because it's taking her some time to consider the implications.]

There is a spell I know that allows you to enter someone's memories. But we would require someone who knows they've lost something - someone who's world has been borrowed for an event.

D'ya think anyone would be willing?, if it meant we could find a pattern or reason the memories that are taken?

I'm sure you could, if you asked around. I don't think I have any friends who have had an event from their world and are still here.

[itchtokill]

All right. I can do that.

[The last part of her text sort of tugs at something somewhere in his chest. Whether it's compassion to his sister or panic for himself is debatable.]

Have you lost a lot people, since being here, Freya?

More than a few. Wonderland can be a bit mercurial that way.

[A beat.]

Klaus and Rebekah have both come and gone in my time here.

[itchtokill]

Well, that's annoying.

Oh.

[He's not entirely sure how to feel about that. Things were not in the best place with him and their other siblings just before he'd died. But the idea that he'd missed them still crawls it's way under his skin and settles there in a bothersome sort of way.]

It's only natural I'd be so late I'd miss them.

They may return. Others have made repeat trips, even if they didn't remember the previous one.

[itchtokill]

That must be awful strange. Being told you were here, faced with people that knew another version of you...

[There's a short pause before he goes on to ask: ]

Was there another me around, that you know of?

[deathlessness]

You were, actually. It was before my time, but Cami mentioned you being here before.

[And then, remembering he doesn't know who Cami is ...]

She was a friend from New Orleans.

[itchtokill]

[He almost asks, except she explains the question he had before he can slip it in.]

Weird... So I've been here, but never have, at the same time. Time travel magic makes my head hurt, sister.

[The fact that no one seemed to have recognized him on arrival seems to lead to the idea that perhaps no one who had been around then were left here. Or none of them felt very strongly about him in any direction. He's willing to bet that second bit isn't possible, no matter what point in time he may have been from. He's hardly so easily forgettable.]
