[This is the text Jemma's more nervous about sending -- not because of Freya herself, but more because of the question mark still surrounding what exactly Fitz and Freya had been up to. It's not totally out of the realm of possibility there might have been a part two to what they were doing. A text isn't "involved," right?]
Freya, it's Jemma. Have you seen Fitz since the chess battle? I haven't seen him since midway through.
There was a "part 2" to Freya's plan, and it was followed through with, but Fitz wasn't a part of it. He had done more than enough in the first place, and she wasn't going to put more on him. Still, she doesn't necessarily think it's good that he's disappeared, and she's quick to respond.]
I'm sorry, I haven't seen him. Are all of his things still here?
[She's probably telling the truth, Jemma figures. In general, she tries to think horses rather than zebras when she hears hoofbeats, but in a place where there are a lot of zebras, that expectation is thrown a bit.]
They're still here. So he may have just popped home for a bit. But with the chess battle, I'm not discounting something else having happened.
If you'd like to bring me something of his, I could do a locator spell? It's been successful in determining whether or not someone is here or not in the past.
[She doesn't do these for just anyone, but it's Fitz. She'd want to be sure.]
[It gives her pause for a moment. She's reasonably sure that he took a trip home, but if she can be sure about that, why shouldn't she be? She replies decisively.]
[And when she gets there, Freya will be ready with everything she needs, including a large map of Wonderland - or at least what she's been able to map.]
[Jemma brings her own half of the bargain, something of Fitz's. Unsure of whether bigger is better in this case, she brings a jumper of his, one of her own favorites. Fitz had warned her against being involved with the witchcraft, even though it was obviously not a warning he had heeded himself.
Well. Fitz was not here. She knocked on the door smartly, pushing the warning aside.]
[Jemma smiles back, apprehensive but determined to let this be as quick and painless as possible with hopefully the result that's likely. She enters the room, letting the door close behind her.]

[She's not sure which she prefers, to be honest.]

Thank you. Would now be convenient, or later?

[She gestures to the chair opposite the map as she closes the door behind her.]
Make yourself comfortable.
