Christmas Eve will find you where the love light gleams

[Rebekah always wanted a sister, growing up. It was difficult being surrounded by brothers and seemingly the only girl. But little did she know that whole time Freya was in the world, longing for her as well. And now they have one another and it is a bond she would not give up for anything else. She loves Freya fiercly not only because she is blood but because she has put her first in a way none of her other siblings ever have.

And that's important.

So under the tree Freya will find a bag with her name on it. One item in there is a bottle of tequila for their next girls' night, but the other item is a small box containing a bracelt inside. Rebekah has gotten a matching one for herself.

There's also a note.

I wanted to give you something to remind you that no matter what this place throws at us, we are always connected. From one sister to another, Merry Christmas.]

[Rebekah has always been important to Freya, as well. Sisters are a bond that can't be replicated any other way, and she wouldn't replace hers for the world. After working for so long to get to her, you would have to pull Rebekah out of her cold dead hands.

That being said, the bracelet is beautiful and she puts it on immediately before going to find her sister.]

[Rebekah smiles when her sister finds her in her room. ]

[And that makes her smile even wider as she settles next to her.]

How very sisterly. I love it.

[They didn't get to do things like this when they were children, so it's fairly save to say that Freya never grew out of it.]

[Neither did Rebekah. They have to make up for lost time, that's the way she sees it.

[And she will hand over a package, where inside is The Pursuit of Love by Nancy Mitford. It's a fun, quirky little book, but it's a start at least.]

There is a lot of literature we missed while we were sleeping. I thought that perhaps we could catch up together.
